The most recent version of Chrome is the only supported browser of the FOLIO development community (as well as other Chromium-based browsers). Your browser of choice might have similar steps to clear your cache, but we are keeping this page scoped to Chrome only. |
There are a handful of reasons why you might want to reset FOLIO. You might encounter bugs that cause display issues until you clear prior session information. Your permissions within FOLIO might also change and you will want to log in again to see the changes. These steps describe a way to reset your FOLIO session without impacting other sites that you access from your browser.

Dev Tools method |
If you are still seeing ghosts from the previous FOLIO release (error messages during routine tasks, UI elements that you know should have changed), you may wish to use the following method to really, really clear your cache.
...
Open the Developer tools view.
Hold down Ctrl, Shift and I or press F12 on a Windows device.
Hold down Option, Command and I on a Mac.
Select the three dots button to open the Chrome menu, select More tools and then Developer tools.
Select the Application tab, select Storage from the left pane, make sure that the “including third-party cookies” checkbox is selected, and click on Clear site data.
Refresh as you did above.
