There are a handful of reasons why you might want to reset FOLIO. You might encounter bugs that cause display issues until you clear prior session information. Your permissions within FOLIO might also change and you will want to log in again to see the changes. These steps describe a way to reset your FOLIO session without impacting other sites that you access from your browser.

  1. Log out of FOLIO.

  1. Select the lock icon next to the address bar.

You will be prompted to refresh the page, select Reload to do so.

  1. Select the Cookies and site data “Site Settings” option.

Select Manage cookies and site data option to open a new popup window.

Select the trash can icon next to the FOLIO cookies and select Done to close this window.

  1. A “Settings” tab will open. Select “Delete data”

  2. A prompt will open asking if you want to delete site data. Select “Delete”.

  3. Close the settings tab and return to the FOLIO login page

  4. Do a “hard refresh”.

    1. Hold down Ctrl and F5 on a Windows device.

    2. Hold down Command, Shift and R on a Mac.

    3. Right click on the refresh icon and select Empty Cache and Hard Reload. (This option may not be available if you don’t have cookies or a cache.)

  5. Log back into FOLIO
