When new libraries contact the Funnel Coordinator about joining
All libraries who join NACO, whether singly or to join a funnel, are required to submit an application through the PCC Secretariat
Once approved, the library requests training through the PCC Secretariat
There are no longer regular NACO trainings
They are scheduled on demand for new libraries, or perhaps quarterly?
Training is fully online and occurs over the course of 5 weeks, through live online courses
Participants have to login and attend at a specific time twice per week
Once training is complete, attendees are able to create NARs during a review period
All newly trained individuals at any library are required to go through review. The Funnel Coordinator for the Massachusetts/Five College Funnel is the reviewer
The goal is for all new NAR creators to become fully independent
For any creators who do not achieve independence, their NARs will be reviewed in perpetuity
