How to Embed a Google Doc

To add a Google Doc to the Widget Connector Macro:

  1. Navigate to Google Drive

  2. Open the Doc you want to embed

  3. Under File choose: File menu → Share → Publish to the web

  4. Click the Publish button

  5. Click on the Share button in the upper right-hand corner

  6. Change General Access to “Anyone with the link” is a “Viewer”

  7. Click the Copy link button

  8. In Confluence page, click the + and type/select Widget Connector

  9. Paste the URL into the Widget Connector Macro

  10. The document will be displayed in Confluence. Updates to the document will also be displayed.
